Retail Category & Sales Analytics Lead

Responsibilities

• Drive business strategy by synthesizing and analyzing market and sales datasets across partner segments, product mix, and programs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Channel, Go-To-Market, Finance, and IT teams to uncover opportunities and track initiatives across pricing, promotions, and category expansion.
• Deliver actionable insights to leadership using accurate findings, clear headlines, and polished charts.
• Conduct predictive, statistical, and financial analyses to identify shifts in partner and market behavior.
• Implement solutions to improve data accuracy and productivity by defining modeling requirements for complex intelligence problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, or consulting.
• Proven experience with data visualization using Power BI.
• Ability to integrate and manage data from multiple sources to create dynamic models.
• Ability to travel as needed for sales meetings or partner visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing or consulting on business strategy and pricing.
• Exposure to programming languages such as Python or R.
• Proficiency with SQL or similar database querying languages.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com.
