Retail Audit Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and own the comprehensive retail audit framework from the ground up
• Lead inventory and compliance auditing across retail outlets, including physical counts and variance reconciliation
• Perform compliance checks on branding, health and safety, and operational processes
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans
• Analyze stock audit results and operational data to identify patterns and surface risks
• Identify and escalate suspicious activity to prevent fraud
• Implement controls to reduce operational risk and provide field-level support

Requirements

• Proven track record in audit, compliance, or retail operations
• Expertise in inventory management, variance analysis, and regulatory compliance
• Experience in multi-location retail or financial services environments
• Advanced proficiency in audit software, data analysis tools, and inventory management systems
• Ability to build or significantly improve audit frameworks
• Strong communication skills to present findings to senior stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional audit certification such as CIA, CISA, or equivalent
