Retail Associate

Responsibilities

• Approach, acknowledge, and assist customers promptly to provide exceptional service
• Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge and suggesting relevant merchandise
• Share information regarding store events, promotions, and activities
• Process all point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently
• Resolve customer issues and suggest exchanges to turn returns into positive experiences
• Communicate merchandise and service needs to management in a timely manner
• Assist the team in achieving overall company and sales goals

Requirements

• Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
• Basic computer skills are required
• Sales experience in specialty retail or the service industry is preferred
• Experience using a POS system is preferred
• Experience working with children is preferred
