Retail Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet fans and provide personalized product recommendations to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience
• Process sales transactions accurately using the Fanatics Point of Sale (POS) system
• Maintain high standards for sales floor and stockroom organization and cleanliness
• Represent the Fanatics brand and the University of North Carolina positively through professional customer service
• Support operational needs during home game shifts, including pre-game, in-game, and post-game support
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the overall fan experience

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and home game days
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout scheduled shifts
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or hospitality
• Ability to quickly build product knowledge regarding team and league inventory
• Multilingual skills are a plus
