Retail Associate - Budtender

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide expert guidance on product selection and cannabis education
• Educate customers on strain types, cannabinoid profiles, and consumption methods
• Process transactions accurately through POS and seed-to-sale tracking systems
• Adhere to state cannabis laws, ID verification, and purchase limits
• Maintain merchandising standards, restocking, and product rotation
• Ensure store cleanliness and follow opening/closing procedures

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of customer service, hospitality, or retail experience
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Must meet all state requirements for employment in a licensed cannabis facility
