Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a high-performing retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and meet business results.
• Manage store functions including staffing, recruitment, assessment, and onboarding of new teammates.
• Drive store growth strategies and manage critical metrics such as sales, budgeting, and planning.
• Oversee the product life cycle from the stockroom to visual merchandising and the sales floor.
• Equip employees with the necessary tools and training to succeed in their daily responsibilities.

Requirements

• Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experience.
• Three years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, build, and lead high-performing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systems.
• Proven ability to utilize tools for conflict resolution and employee coaching.
• Ability to bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
