Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and inspire employees to achieve individual and team goals
• Assist in managing employee relations and staffing/recruiting efforts
• Create and communicate effective weekly labor schedules
• Facilitate training and onboarding of team members
• Perform store opening and closing procedures, including inventory reconciliation
• Manage daily operations, cash reconciliations, and POS discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, state, and local laws
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and customers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of retail management experience leading teams of 5+ employees
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel
• Strong customer service and conflict management skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work after-hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the cannabis industry
• Demonstrated experience in training and talent development
