About the role
Responsibilities
- Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent
- Set and reinforce clear performance expectations and accountability
- Act as manager on duty to address customer experience and maintenance issues
- Implement floorset direction to optimize business and product storytelling
- Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits and shipment receipt
- Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through modeling selling behaviors
- Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience
- Maintain safety standards and store visual appearance
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering sales and operational results in fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in a management role, preferably in retail
- Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture
- Effective communication and de-escalation skills
- Availability to work peak days including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform constant physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
