Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent
• Set and reinforce performance expectations and accountability
• Act as manager on duty to address customer experience and maintenance issues
• Implement floorset direction to optimize business and product storytelling
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits and shipment receipt
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve sales results
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and brand standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, customer experience, and operations
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Availability to work peak times including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching
