Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent
• Set and reinforce clear performance expectations and accountability
• Act as manager on duty to address customer experience and maintenance issues
• Partner with sales leadership to support action plans and operational execution
• Implement floorset direction to optimize business and product storytelling
• Perform opening and closing routines including bank deposits and shipment receipt
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through modeling selling behaviors
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience
• Maintain safety standards and store visual appearance

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales and operational results in fast-paced environments
• Prior experience in a management role, preferably in retail
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Availability to work peak days including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
