Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead daily store operations and support business growth
• Coach, train, motivate, and develop associates to improve selling and customer experience
• Deliver exceptional in-store service by modeling strong selling behaviors and product knowledge
• Support hiring, performance feedback, accountability, and team development
• Execute opening and closing routines, floorsets, shipment processing, and bank deposits as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and engaging store environment
• Help manage staffing, payroll targets, and coverage to support sales goals

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment
• Prior management experience, preferably in retail
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to build strong customer connections
• Effective communication skills and openness to feedback
• Ability to coach associates and de-escalate customer or store issues
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
