Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Act as manager on duty to address customer, vendor, or maintenance issues
• Implement floorset direction and operational activities to optimize business results
• Lead, coach, and motivate associates through real-time feedback and performance management
• Manage store routines including opening/closing, bank deposits, and shipment receipt
• Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment by adhering to all safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales and operational results in a fast-paced environment
• Prior management experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Strong customer-first mindset with the ability to foster a selling culture
• Effective communication skills and the ability to de-escalate customer situations
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates
• Availability to work peak times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
