Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales growth and operational excellence
• Act as Manager on Duty to oversee customer experience, vendor relationships, and maintenance
• Implement floorset direction to optimize business results and product storytelling
• Perform opening and closing routines, including bank deposits and shipment processing
• Lead exceptional in-store experiences by modeling selling behaviors and product knowledge
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve individual and team performance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging store environment by adhering to all safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results
• Prior experience in a management role, preferably within a retail setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide real-time coaching to associates
• Ability to de-escalate customer or store situations effectively
• Availability to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
