Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Act as manager on duty to address customer, vendor, or maintenance issues
• Lead exceptional in-store experiences by modeling selling behaviors and product knowledge
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve sales performance and accountability
• Implement floorset direction and maintain visual standards to bring the product story to life
• Manage operational tasks including opening/closing routines, bank deposits, and shipment receipt
• Meet payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results
• Prior experience in a management role, preferably in a retail setting
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching and de-escalate customer situations
• Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to feedback
• Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to perform constant physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
