Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Act as manager on duty to address customer service, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues
• Implement floorset direction and operational activities to optimize business results
• Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback to associates
• Manage store routines including opening/closing, bank deposits, and shipment receipt
• Lead by example through elevated product knowledge and personalized customer connections
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging store environment

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results
• Prior experience in a management role, preferably within a retail setting
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform constant physical activity (standing, walking, reaching)
• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate customer situations
