Retail Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Act as manager on duty to oversee customer experience, vendor relationships, and maintenance
• Implement floorset direction and operational activities to optimize business results
• Lead in-store customer connections through product demonstrations and personalized recommendations
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling behaviors and accountability
• Manage opening and closing routines, including bank deposits and shipment receipt
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging store environment by adhering to all safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results
• Prior management experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to foster a selling culture
• Effective communication skills and the ability to provide in-the-moment coaching
• Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively
• Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to perform constant physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
