Retail Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, answer questions, and ensure a great customer experience
• Direct daily activities of employees and ensure the team has resources to be successful
• Operate the cash register each shift and train new store associates
• Assist with stocking, receiving, and merchandising products on the sales floor
• Complete daily paperwork, balance, and close the register as directed by the manager
• Foster a friendly, inviting, and positive work environment for employees and guests

Requirements

• Ability to reach, stand, and move about for at least 12 hours at a time
• Ability to use a ladder and lift and move objects up to 50 lbs. or more
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong customer service orientation and team leadership mindset
