Restoration Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a regional operations team including supervisors, field technicians, and equipment operators
• Establish and operate a regional office and equipment shop in the Cedar Rapids area
• Manage a fleet of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment, overseeing maintenance, procurement, and utilization
• Lead field execution of SWPPP implementation, erosion and sediment control, and vegetation establishment
• Ensure all work complies with approved plans, permits, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and logistics for multiple active projects across Iowa and Southern Minnesota
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, general contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Support business development by identifying new contract opportunities and assisting with proposals

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in stormwater compliance, erosion control, or vegetation management
• Proven experience managing field crews, equipment, and multi-project operations
• Deep working knowledge of SWPPP requirements and erosion/sediment control BMPs
• Experience managing fleets and hands-on field logistics
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Iowa and Southern Minnesota
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Current residence in Eastern or Central Iowa
• Established industry relationships with contractors and agencies in the IA/MN region
• Experience launching or scaling a regional construction or compliance services operation
• Class A or B CDL
