Restoration Lead Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect affected properties to determine damage scope and develop mitigation strategies
• Perform water extraction, drying, mold remediation, fire/smoke cleanup, and structural repairs
• Set up and operate specialized restoration equipment
• Maintain accurate records including daily logs, moisture readings, and photos using industry software
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the restoration process
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a secure environment

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in the restoration industry
• Hands-on experience in water, fire, or mold mitigation
• Proficiency with restoration equipment and software such as MICA or Xactimate
• Experience scoping job sites using Matterport or DocuSketch
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC Water Damage Restoration (WRT) certification
• IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification
• TDLR Mold Remediation Contractor certification
