About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure service quality and atmosphere meet company and management standards
- Manage workflow to guarantee smooth and efficient service
- Evaluate daily performance through observation and provide coaching
- Help identify career development opportunities for team members
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts
- Oversee quality control and ensure standards, protocols, and regulations are respected
- Supervise and act as a reference point for employees, offering guidance and support
- Act as a liaison between staff and management
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in restaurant or hospitality (asset)
- Hands-on floor experience with understanding of restaurant operations
- Excellent communication skills in French
- Ability to communicate in English
- Strong customer service orientation
- Natural leadership and team spirit
- Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and weekends
