Restaurant Server

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide knowledgeable, friendly service regarding menu items, wine lists, and venue events
• Suggestively sell menu items, beverages, desserts, and daily specials
• Take accurate orders via MICROS terminal and communicate them to the kitchen and bar
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve any concerns or complaints with a positive attitude
• Manage table service including pre-bussing, delivering food/beverages, and processing payments
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and perform opening, running, and closing duties
• Assist team members and participate in special events scheduled throughout the venue

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in high-volume restaurant operations
• Valid Food Handler Certification and Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training
• Strong knowledge of wine and liquor
• High School Diploma
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud, and high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using MICROS Point of Sale systems
