Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Chinese restaurant to ensure smooth service and an authentic guest experience
• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen teams on Chinese service standards and tea culture
• Handle guest complaints professionally while preserving traditional Chinese hospitality standards
• Plan staff schedules and manage attendance to ensure adequate coverage for peak hours and special events
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of authentic cuisine
• Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with local regulations and food safety standards
• Control inventory and ordering of specialty Chinese ingredients to minimize waste and ensure availability
• Drive sales and profitability through themed promotions, seasonal specialties, and upselling

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role within hospitality
• Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local health regulations
• Financial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
• Familiarity with Chinese cuisine, tea culture, and traditional dining etiquette
