About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of the food & beverage department to ensure high-level guest service
- Proactively improve guest satisfaction and respond to enquiries
- Deliver on food & beverage initiatives and hotel targets
- Manage the food & beverage team and foster a culture of growth and performance
- Oversee the departmental budget, controlling costs, inventory, and productivity
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Implement programmes to advance service standards, profitability, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with all legislation and due diligence requirements for audits
Requirements
- Proven experience in food & beverage service
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Strong managerial skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for hospitality
- Ability to find creative solutions and offer recommendations
- Proficiency in using various IT platforms
- Strong communication skills
