About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of an Italian restaurant to ensure smooth service and an authentic, high-quality guest experience
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen teams on Italian service standards and cuisine knowledge
- Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly
- Plan staff schedules and manage attendance for peak service and special events
- Coordinate with chefs and pizzaiolo to ensure timely production of menu items
- Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with local regulations
- Control inventory, stock levels, and ordering of authentic Italian ingredients
- Drive sales and profitability through promotions, menu engineering, and upselling
- Conduct staff training and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in hospitality, preferably in an Italian or casual-dining setting
- Strong leadership and team-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for authentic Italian hospitality
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local health regulations
- Financial awareness including budgeting and cost control
