Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a Chinese restaurant to ensure smooth service and an authentic guest experience
• Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen teams on Chinese service standards and cuisine knowledge
• Handle guest complaints professionally while preserving traditional Chinese hospitality
• Plan staff schedules and manage attendance for peak dining hours and special events
• Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of authentic dishes
• Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with local regulations
• Control inventory, stock levels, and ordering of authentic Chinese ingredients
• Drive sales and profitability through themed promotions and cost-control measures
• Conduct staff training and performance evaluations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or leadership role in hospitality
• Experience in a Chinese dining restaurant is preferred
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused mindset with passion for authentic hospitality
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local health regulations
• Financial awareness including budgeting and inventory management
• Familiarity with Chinese cuisine, tea culture, and dining etiquette is an advantage
