About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Food and Beverage team through front of house operations and events
- Partner with the Head Chef and Resort Leadership to create standout outlets and menus
- Build and lead a high-performing, engaged team culture
- Develop and manage rosters aligned to business demand and wage targets
- Manage supplier relationships and ordering
- Oversee conference and events service delivery
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety legislation and RSA standards
- Proactively manage risks and hazards to maintain a safe environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage role within a Hotel, Resort, or high-volume hospitality venue
- Experience with events exposure preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commercial acumen with experience managing labour and costs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on approach to leadership
