About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Italian restaurant to ensure smooth service and an authentic guest experience
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen teams on Italian service standards and cuisine knowledge
  • Handle guest complaints professionally to preserve relationships and uphold Italian hospitality standards
  • Plan staff schedules and manage attendance to ensure adequate coverage for peak service and special events
  • Coordinate with chefs and pizzaiolo to ensure timely production of authentic Italian dishes
  • Monitor hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in compliance with local regulations and food safety standards
  • Control inventory and ordering, prioritizing authentic Italian ingredients to minimize waste
  • Drive sales and profitability through menu engineering, wine pairings, and upselling
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and coach employees on service and menu development

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in Italian or casual dining
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills with the ability to motivate staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and local health regulations
  • Financial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management
