About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in fueling staff development and maximizing profitability
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to advance within the company
- Promote Bottleneck Management philosophies, culture, and operational standards
- Assist in executing strategies for sales growth and cost controls, including labor and COGS
- Oversee the effective use of operational systems such as POS, scheduling, and Open Table
- Ensure a guest-first mentality by leading by example and reinforcing guest loyalty
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, teamwork, and excellence across the FOH staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of restaurant management and people leadership experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, particularly regarding scheduling and invoice processing
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends
- Physical ability to stand for full shifts and lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, loud environment
