About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and correct employees while maintaining a positive atmosphere
- Assist in interviewing, selection, training, and retention of staff
- Produce weekly schedules based on budget and forecasted numbers
- Oversee financial success and profitability of the operation
- Conduct daily inspections of restaurant and equipment for health and safety compliance
- Manage inventory and purchase food and supplies
- Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the dining experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years management experience in a food service environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Knowledge of purchasing, scheduling, and payroll systems
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and delegation skills
- Ability to work under stressful circumstances and manage difficult situations
- Proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality management related degree
