Restaurant Manager and Service Instructor

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare, and teach theoretical classes and practical workshops related to food and beverage.
• Instruct the F&B service curriculum following established syllabi and lesson plans.
• Evaluate and assess student performance and maintain academic documentation.
• Oversee outlet operations to ensure the highest standards of service excellence and hygiene.
• Manage financial aspects of the restaurant, including cash flow, end-of-shift closures, and P&L analysis.
• Coordinate with the Head Chef and Culinary Instructor to develop menus and restaurant identity.
• Lead and mentor direct reports, including restaurant supervisors and students, ensuring proper task distribution and performance monitoring.
• Organize and participate in on-campus and off-campus catering events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in an international hotel environment (service, banqueting, bar, or sommelierie).
• At least 2 years of experience in a managerial position leading a team.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Proficient knowledge of IT programs and restaurant systems, including POS and reservation software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an educational or teaching role.
• Proficiency in an additional language.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with an interest in business development.
