Restaurant Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and graciously with a professional smile and excellent posture
• Manage the host stand, review reservation books, and coordinate seating assignments
• Utilize the OpenTable system to monitor reservations, special occasions, and cancellations
• Maintain the cleanliness and immaculate appearance of menus and the dining room setup
• Develop a thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, and daily availability
• Answer telephones according to brand standards to take reservations and provide information
• Anticipate guest needs and address any dissatisfaction immediately by informing management
• Support the service team with additional tasks to ensure high-quality service standards
• Handle lost and found items and follow all company grooming and uniform procedures

Requirements

• Certificate in Administration or a relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience working in a 5-star international hotel environment
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email etiquette
• Experience with the OpenTable reservation system
• Knowledge of Micros and cashiering procedures
• Proven ability to work under pressure in a high-volume luxury environment
• Strong customer service, upselling, and complaint-handling skills
