Restaurant Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and graciously with eye contact, a smile, and professional posture
• Manage the host stand, review reservation books, and recommend room setups
• Assign seating strategically by considering service standards and server workloads
• Inspect the dining room cleanliness and ensure all tables are properly set before opening
• Maintain complete knowledge of menus, ingredients, and daily availability
• Ensure every guest receives the highest quality of service and handle requests with flexibility
• Fondly bid farewell to departing customers and invite them to return
• Maintain immaculate grooming standards in accordance with company luxury protocols

Requirements

• Certificate in Administration or a relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience working in a 5-star international hotel
• Proven experience working in high-volume dining environments
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Micros and cashiering procedures
• Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively
• Strong complaint handling and upselling skills
