Restaurant Host

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant
• Manage waitlists and reservations accurately
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• Communicate wait times effectively to guests
• Monitor dining room and entryway to maintain efficient seating flow
• Assist servers with water refills, clearing plates, or resetting tables
• Answer phones to take reservations or provide information
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand, menus, and entrance area

Requirements

• Previous host, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
