Restaurant Busser

Responsibilities

• Perform table maintenance and opening/running/closing duties according to House of Blues service standards
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness by cleaning spills immediately and keeping floors free of debris
• Safely transport bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs to the dish room
• Keep ice bins, trash receptacles, and dining areas stocked and clean
• Follow private party service guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Assist other employees as needed and work special events as scheduled

Requirements

• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations or food service
• High School diploma
• Exceptional communication skills and a strong sense of urgency
• Proficiency in time management and kitchen sanitation standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in Spanish
• Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Experience as an Expeditor or Server in a high-volume environment
