Restaurant Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and maintaining brand standards
• Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to ensure service excellence
• Manage shift schedules, floor plans, and team assignments
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and service recovery professionally
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ordering processes
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Maintain accurate reports on sales, labor, and operational performance

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the F&B or hospitality sector
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
• Problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting
