Restaurant and Bar Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all bar operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high hospitality standards
• Lead, coach, and develop bartenders and bar support staff to maintain high performance
• Manage inventory, including weekly counts, ordering procedures, and investigating variances
• Control beverage and labor costs to meet profitability targets and KPIs
• Ensure full compliance with local liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, training records, and sales trend analysis
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and service speed during high-volume shifts

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience
• Valid alcohol service certification as required by local regulations
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a food and beverage environment
• Proven track record in beverage cost control and inventory management
