About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the scheduling and production planning for leather goods workshops to ensure capacity alignment and smooth production flows.
- Coordinate with the Spanish subsidiary to harmonize workshop mapping and align capacity/load data across multi-site operations.
- Manage and develop a team of schedulers, defining objectives and implementing performance routines.
- Validate and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules, optimizing work orders based on skills and priorities.
- Anticipate the impact of new product launches on production capacity and workshop maturity.
- Support the deployment of SAP by configuring key functionalities such as MRP and capacity planning.
- Produce and analyze performance reports regarding capacity, work-in-progress, and lead times.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling, production planning, or production management.
- Proven managerial experience with a track record of leading and developing teams.
- Experience working in complex, multi-site environments.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, pedagogical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
- High level of rigor, analytical thinking, and ability to manage priorities in a complex setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the luxury, leather goods, textile, or assembly sectors.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or SAP implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies (flow optimization, balancing).
- Practical experience working directly within factory or workshop environments.
