Responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance practices including sourcing, integrity, provenance, and synthetic data governance
• Develop procedures for identifying and protecting personally identifiable information (PII)
• Monitor emerging AI governance frameworks and integrate ethical considerations into the product development lifecycle
• Ensure research methodologies meet standards for verification, reproducibility, and auditability
• Conduct dual-use assessments and coordinate bias and fairness evaluations
• Establish policies for the responsible deployment of internal AI tools
• Support public policy initiatives related to AI governance

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in responsible AI, data governance, or technology-related legal/compliance roles
• Technical proficiency in AI research methodologies, data pipelines, and training processes
• Demonstrated experience in data governance or AI governance within a technical context
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO 42001
• Strong process orientation and ability to build systems from scratch in a startup environment
