Responsibilities
- Verify and validate information in indirect loan applications, lease contracts, and supporting documents before funds are disbursed to dealerships.
- Perform detailed checks on contract data, including vehicle descriptions, insurance coverage, and proof of residence.
- Ensure all lease documents comply with Bank guidelines and contractual obligations to residual value insurers.
- Resolve discrepancies by communicating with dealerships to correct documentation and issuing irregularity notices.
- Maintain professional relationships with dealerships and internal teams (Lending, Accounting, CFC) to resolve issues efficiently.
- Mitigate operational, regulatory, and AML/KYC risks by verifying client profiles, income proof, and fund origins.
- Support a high-performance culture by adhering to internal policies, procedures, and ethical codes.
Requirements
- University or college diploma preferred, or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or leasing is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Windows.
- Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required to collaborate with teams in Toronto and interact with diverse clients.
