Responsable de Área (Crédito)

Responsibilities

• Perform legal analysis of documentation to ensure correct integration, review, and follow-up of credit contracts.
• Manage the formalization of guarantees for various projects within the IDEAL group.
• Oversee different types of credit contracts, including current account, simple, refinancing, and unsecured contracts.
• Handle accessory contracts such as pledges, mortgages, and general guarantees.
• Manage legal figures related to credit, including trusts (fideicomisos) and promissory notes (pagarés).
• Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Transport, Water & Energy, Social Infrastructure) and external entities (Banks, Notaries) to ensure contract compliance and follow-up.
• Maintain and update databases in Excel and manage corporate publications via the Ministry of Economy's electronic system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Law (Derecho Empresarial) is mandatory.
• 2 to 3 years of experience working in a Notary, Bank, or SOFOM, specifically handling credit contracts.
• High level of theoretical and practical knowledge regarding credit legal figures, trusts, and promissory notes.
• Proficiency in English (reading and writing technical texts).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work onsite in CDMX (Corporativo Carso Palmas).
• Availability for occasional travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialization or advanced knowledge in banking or financial law.
• Experience managing complex legal obligations and identifying causes for early maturity in contracts.
