About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of 15 people (foremen, team leaders, and machine operators) in a 2x8 shift rotation.
  • Plan weekly production to ensure continuous availability and quality of raw materials (marl, limestone, and alternative materials) for the plant.
  • Monitor production performance indicators, including TRS (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and production budgets.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with mechanical and electrical workshops and supervise first-level maintenance.
  • Ensure strict application of safety rules for all personnel and subcontractors, including risk analysis and updating the DUER.
  • Oversee blasting operations, manage explosives orders, and maintain official registers while supervising subcontractors.
  • Manage environmental constraints (noise, dust, vibrations) and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including neighbors and local authorities.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree (Mines, Chemistry, or equivalent) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Confirmed experience in direct operational team management.
  • Strong knowledge of quarry legislation (Code du travail, ICPE).
  • Technical knowledge of crushing and loading equipment, with basic mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Mastery of blasting (CPT) is essential to supervise subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in Pack Office, SAP, Google, and SIG tools.
  • Strong leadership, autonomy, and ability to work transversally across departments.
