About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist consumers with identifying personal recovery methods and developing self-management plans
- Participate in developing Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) and consumer self-management plans
- Support community integration through resource navigation, membership encouragement, and stigma reduction
- Provide side-by-side interventions focusing on problem solving, skills training, modeling, optimism, and encouragement
- Assist consumers in achieving goals and developing skills for more independent living
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Must be receiving or have received mental health services with established recovery process and self-knowledge to manage mental illness
