Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiopulmonary services to hospital patients and outpatients
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapies
• Utilize advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations
• Conduct non-invasive cardiac and respiratory studies and tests
• Coordinate and conduct special projects as assigned
• Assist nursing staff with short term relief during high utilization times

Requirements

• Registry with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
• Current CPR card
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification within 6 months of hire
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult and pediatric acute care delivery
• Experience in tertiary level or geriatric respiratory care
• Experience promoting group and team relationships
