Respiratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on respiratory medical devices (oxygen concentrators, CPAP, NIV, etc.) at patients' homes.
• Train patients and their families on equipment operation, safety rules, and best practices for use.
• Monitor patient treatments through home visits and phone calls to ensure compliance and adjust equipment settings in collaboration with prescribers.
• Manage administrative tasks including intervention reports, consumable stock management, and tour planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in the technical on-call rotation to ensure service continuity.

Requirements

• Bac+2 technical degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Industrial Maintenance, or GEII.
• Valid driving license (Permis B) for frequent travel to patient homes.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency in office IT tools.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, autonomy, and organizational rigor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in home healthcare or respiratory assistance.
• Specialization in biomedical engineering.
• German language skills due to geographic proximity to the border.
