Respiratory Physiotherapist

Responsibilities

• Provide breathing control training and befriending sessions to trial participants at participating Melbourne hospital sites
• Conduct standardised clinical and research assessments of participants in line with trial protocols and Good Clinical Practice
• Plan and complete accurate data collection, documentation, and quality checks to support high-quality trial outcomes
• Coordinate and communicate project activities with the research team to ensure milestones are met on time
• Contribute to manuscripts, ethics submissions, and grant applications related to the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physiotherapy
• Postgraduate cardiorespiratory training or equivalent clinical expertise
• Current respiratory physiotherapy experience, ideally within acute, neurology, or cardiorespiratory hospital settings
• Meticulous attention to detail regarding data collection, auditing, and record keeping
• Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Victorian driver licence
