Respiratory Physiologist

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) including Static Lung Volumes (Body plethysmography), Spirometry, Gas Transfer Factor, FeNo, and Breath CO (PPM)
• Perform patient clinical observations such as Blood Pressure (BP) and Oxygen Saturation (SpO2)
• Administer and monitor Six-minute Walk tests
• Demonstrate and evaluate Bronchodilator administration techniques and conduct post-medication testing

Requirements

• Clinical PFT/LFT experience
• Relevant qualifications and registration as a Respiratory Physiologist
• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vyaire Equipment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
