Respiratory Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care in respiratory medicine and general internal medicine
• Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Engage in medical teaching, training, and appraisal of junior staff
• Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service development
• Support the development of respiratory services across the Trust

Requirements

• Full registration and licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine (or within 6 months of interview)
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications and Fellowship of a Royal College (e.g., FRCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Subspecialty interest in sleep/ventilation, lung cancer, or interventional respiratory medicine
