About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, allocation, and optimization of financial, human, and operational resources for the VHR Vice Presidency.
- Oversee the formulation and execution of VHR's budget and workforce plans, identifying risks and efficiency opportunities.
- Develop management dashboards and performance indicators to provide leadership with insights on resource utilization and key trends.
- Coordinate the implementation of priority initiatives, ensuring governance, accountability, and alignment across departments.
- Monitor progress against milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying bottlenecks and corrective actions.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support organizational planning and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving operational effectiveness and strengthening governance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in human resources, budget, accounting, or administration.
- 3+ years of experience developing and executing medium to large-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required.
- Citizenship of one of the 48 IDB member countries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of IDB Group policies, procedures, and management processes.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
- Knowledge of Portuguese and/or French.
