Requirements

About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide physical care and implement programming to assist residents with individual treatment plans
- Supervise and monitor resident movement, activity, and rule compliance
- Assess and respond appropriately to resident behaviors, attitudes, and dispositions
- Implement and assist in planning structured activities to promote social and independent living skills
- Provide written documentation of observations to support the resident's Individual Treatment Plan
- Assist residents with health and hygiene needs
- Complete intake and discharge procedures and conduct program orientations for new residents
- Transport residents to outside activities using a 15-passenger van as needed
- Maintain a healthy environment by overseeing the appearance and cleanliness of living spaces
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain Agency Affiliated Counselor certification within 60 days of hire
- First Aid/CPR certification prior to first independent shift
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and internet navigation
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in the human services field
- Coursework or training in human development, chemical dependency, group dynamics, or residential treatment
