Residential Supervisor - Overnight

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to the night-shift Youth Care Worker team in a residential childcare environment
• Coordinate staff scheduling and perform supervisory duties related to training, mentoring, and development
• Monitor the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents during overnight hours
• Oversee consistent adherence to protocols, including room checks and nightly check logs
• Respond to facility alerts and conduct on-site assessments as needed
• Perform routine nightly checks of residences and monitor security footage
• Conduct weekly checks to ensure home medications are accurate
• Communicate effectively with Campus Life Supervisors, Casework, and Homelife staff
• Participate in an on-call rotation as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalency
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare environment
• Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
• Valid Texas driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Willingness to reside on campus in provided housing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in staff supervision (interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations)
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience
